Artists, Makers, Doers, Thinkers - We Want to Hear From You
Art Park - Open Call for Artists - Closed
Open Call for Artists and Collectives to design and complete art works at public realm locations at the site of the former art deco Lido and Superdome Arena, situated at Morecambe’s seafront.
Deco Publique are leading the art-led development of the former Dome site on Morecambe Promenade with a proposal for ‘Art Park’. The 8,000 sq m space on Morecambe’s Promenade has a long history of architectural and spatial change and at present the site is vastly underutilised and provides little functional value for the community but has the potential to become a central community space. Through a range of creative interventions, it is our aim to transform an underutilised arena into a new, community space at the heart of the seafront.
